BACKGROUND

Emergent Dynamics is a biotech startup launched by Ordaos with the goal to develop A.I. and Machine Learning driven new ways to develop clinical drugs in-silico. Their technology aims to fast-track clinical trials, thus safely developing novel therapies that reduce subject risks, patient suffering, and development costs and improve health.

Their technology relying on A.I, Emergent Dynamics, thought it would be fitting to use similar processes to develop the base of their visual identity but the stakeholders were unsatisfied with the results.

PROCESS

Through a month-long "boot camp", I helped the startup rethink its approach to design, developing a new and consistent design language that would both stand out while cementing its position in the biotech industry.

Different touchpoints were identified and assets were developed, from presentations to illustration, editorial work, etc. to better communicate with potential investors (with the goal to raise funds and explore opportunities), medical experts (to gain visibility and validate their POC), and the public audience (to educate on the potential of their technology).
